About US
The Transportation Research Center in the University of Seoul was established in 1995 to carry out leading-edge researches for the transportation sector in Korea and became a national research institution for transportation planning, design, and operation. With many researches carried out in the center, practicing engineers and planners became able to perform more timely and client-oriented projects, and in particular several strategic plans for transportation networks and state of art projects in traffic engineering have set national standards. In addition, with various academic cooperative researches with the government, municipalities, and private sectors, the center is aiming to become one of the global leaders in transportation research. Recently, the center is keen to formulate an international cooperative research network with world-ranking universities including the University of Hong Kong, the University of London, the University of Tokyo, and the University of Calgary. With this successful experience, the center will perform more creative and stimulating researches in the future.
