About us
Global Urban & Infrastructure Research Center (GUIRC) has been established to promote global urban development through research, knowledge sharing, training, and networking. The GUIRC focuses on developing appropriate policy alternatives after analyzing global urban issues such as rapid urbanization, affordable housing, urban infrastructure, climate change, etc. theoretically and practically.
Research Areas
GUIRC’s research encompasses a wide range of topics relevant global urban and infrastructure development. Some specific areas of research include: global urbanization, urban infrastructure development, informal sector and affordable housing, urban transportation, climate change, development assistance, capacity development, global construction industry, smart city, and etc.
